With a visionary perspective and a wealth of experience in technology leadership, Gary Nichols serves as the CEO of InterDev, guiding the company towards innovation and excellence.

Gary’s journey through the dynamic landscape of technology spans over several decades, during which he has led InterDev in strategic planning, business development, and fostering client centric solutions. Gary’s leadership style is marked by a deep commitment to his employees and clients, cultivating a culture of collaboration, trust, innovation, and continuous growth.

Under Gary’s guidance, InterDev has flourished in providing managed IT services and solutions. This has resulted in a foundation based on embracing emerging technologies and trends while ensuring that InterDev’s clients are equipped with the technology required to effectively navigate the demands of today’s highly complex digital business landscape.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University, Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Gary serves on the Board of Directors for Roswell Economic Development and Tourism Inc, as well as Fulton County Schools Innovation Academy Foundation, and has previously served on the Advisory Board of the National Technology Security Coalition. He volunteers with TAG-Ed, FutureCity.org, and Habitat for Humanity.

Serving as the Chief Operating Officer, Jason Brookins is a dynamic and results-driven executive who brings a wealth of experience in the technology and operations space. With a proven track record of success, Jason has recently transitioned from the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) to Chief Operating Officer (COO), showcasing a unique blend of strategic vision and operational excellence. 

In his most recent role as CIO, Jason played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technology strategy for the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. Under his leadership, the technology landscape underwent a transformative evolution, ensuring that the organization remained at the forefront of industry trends. He spearheaded initiatives that not only enhanced the overall IT infrastructure but also fostered a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. 

Now, in his role as COO, Jason brings this same dedication and strategic acumen to the broader operational aspects of the business. He is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations, streamlining processes, and driving organizational efficiency. Jason’s unique background as a former CIO position him to bring a technology-centric perspective to the operational challenges faced by the company. 

He holds a Graduate Certificate in Management & Leadership and an Executive Certificate in Public Administration from Liberty University, a Master of Public Administration from Purdue University Global and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Management from Clayton State University. In addition, he holds a Certified Government Chief Information Officers (CGCIO) and Local Government Chief Information Officer (LGCIO) and Certified Public Manager (CPM) certifications from the University of Georgia.

With his extensive expertise in information technology and systems security, and strong professional training in IT solutions ranging from data centers and cloud computing to networking, Daniel Schultheiss is the cornerstone of InterDev’s IT practice. He provides high-level analysis of the IT infrastructure of organizations – from corporations to municipalities – and offers recommendations on how they can achieve their goals.

During his tenure at InterDev, Daniel has played a key role in InterDev’s growth, as the firm expanded its expertise to embrace emerging technology and security disciplines that have now become mission critical to firms of all sizes. One of his most significant achievements was helping to develop and implement InterDev’s Managed Services platform in 2006 – his first year with the firm. He also served as IT Manager for the City of Sandy Springs from 2011-2013, and helped InterDev launch its Government Services division in 2014.

Daniel holds a CISSP certification and is a Certified Ethical Hacker. He is also a member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Daniel graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.

Josh Auld joined InterDev in October of 2021. Josh is a veteran of the US Air Force where he specialized in Cyber Operations and from there brought a track record of over 13 years in the Information Technology space. Josh’s expertise spans Systems and Network Administration, Systems Engineering, Project Management, Telecom, Cybersecurity, and Service Desk Management.

Since joining, Auld has consistently excelled in InterDev’s IT Services Department. His adeptness in various technical domains, coupled with his strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, has earned him roles of increasing responsibility and impact within the company. Auld’s proficiency in managing diverse and specialized technical teams have significantly contributed to InterDev’s growth and responsiveness, adding substantial value to the organization.

As the Director of IT Services, Josh continues to enhance service delivery metrics, improving efficiencies, profitability, and stakeholder satisfaction.

As the Director of Information Security, Matt Hammond specializes in identifying information security risks and implementing processes and technologies to mitigate them. With extensive cybersecurity expertise, he develops and executes robust security strategies for InterDev’s clients. A seasoned cybersecurity leader, Matt has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering impactful security solutions at Trellix, McAfee, and Intel Security. He has successfully managed large-scale consulting engagements, providing comprehensive security solutions. His core areas of expertise include endpoint and cloud security, threat intelligence, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Matt holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Director of Geospatial Solutions


Chris Gundry is the Director of Geospatial Solutions at InterDev, where he provides strategic leadership to the GIS team and develops innovative geospatial applications to empower local governments with cutting-edge solutions that enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive smarter community development. His expertise encompasses project management, operational excellence, and the implementation of advanced geospatial technologies.

Prior to InterDev, Chris served as a Project Manager at Precision Design Solutions, focusing on client management and project execution within the fiber optic network engineering sector. At Atlantic Engineering Group, he drove significant operational improvements as GIS Manager, spearheading the transition from CAD to GIS workflows, automated key processes, and shifted the department to a proactive, efficiency-driven model.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography from the University of Windsor, and a GIS-Applications Specialist diploma from Sandford Fleming College.

Jesse Cail is a retired U.S. Army veteran with unique experiences in Special Operations, having served and deployed with both the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). He was also selected for a special six-year assignment to the White House Communications Agency, served as a member of the White House Situation Support Staff, and directly supported the White House Situation Room and National Security Council. 

Jesse joined the lnterDev team in 2012, building a security program out of his experience and strong domain administration skills from the ground up for the City of Sandy Springs. He would use this model to establish InterDev’s security practice as a new and dedicated department with the company providing specialized cybersecurity services to our clients. Jesse also established a dedicated solutions architect role within the Business Development department, supporting sales staff through deep technical knowledge and experience to ensure that InterDev provides the best technology and service offerings to our customers. Most recently, he served as our Sales Operations Manager streamlining cross-functional processes between sales, finance, service delivery and project management.

As our Business Operations Manager, Jesse serves in a key leadership role focused on data analysis, systems optimization and process improvement, providing critical insights and recommendations at the executive level to drive efficiency and growth.

Corporate Controller


Jeff Colonna joined InterDev in 2019 in the role of Corporate Controller. In this position, he is responsible for the leadership of all accounting and finance functions. Since joining the firm, he has successfully transformed many of the financial processes of the company by incorporating new technologies that promote efficiency.

Colonna began his career with the international accounting firm Deloitte, where he specialized in auditing publicly traded technology companies. He later moved to the corporate accounting sector where he held several controller and director-level roles with small and large technology companies.

Colonna earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is currently a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia.

As an accomplished HR Manager with a proven track record, Randi specializes in fostering organizational growth and development through strategic human resource management. With a blend of leadership, interpersonal skills, and extensive industry knowledge, she is dedicated to creating a thriving workplace environment that empowers employees and drives business success. Randi directs core HR functions including Strategic HR planning, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, HR Analytics, Employee Development and Training, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, and Compliance.

Prior to joining InterDev, Randi worked for a large retailer where she gained experience in operations, risk management, and human resources. Among her other professional accomplishments, she counts the successful establishment of a food distribution company that grew to $8MM in annual revenue as well as an extended tenure working in the commercial furniture industry where she attained increasing levels of responsibility in business operations, commercial services and human resources.

Russell studied Liberal Arts and Computer Science at DeKalb Community College and earned her certification as a SHRM-CP in 2018.
